Fuzz face layout check

Hi, this layout by MarkM for the fuzz face has the output cap after the r3+r4 combo reach the collector.

On the shematic he uses (fuzz central) the output cap is connected in between these two resistors.

Is this a mod or an error. Please don't tell me to breadboard it

The parts in question are connected like the schem here. Of course for PNP germanium you'd have to flip the electro. caps and the battery supply.
