I've been trying to register over there for a week now to get some help with my dead DD-3.  Can someone put me in contact with the moderator?

Dr. Bob is the only mod I know from over there. I can't seem to find his email address, but here is a link to his profile:

http://www.bossarea.com/forum/pop_profile.asp?mode=display&id=843

whether that works or not without being logged in, I don't know. You can send him an 'email' from his profile page, but it's one of those deals where you enter your email address and your message, not an actual email address for him.

I too have a dead DD3 that I tried to get some help there. Nothing ever came of it though, and it's still a dead DD3  :icon_lol:

My partner in crime has a dead DD3 and it's the SMD one.  I'm a member of boss area, I need to get around to working on it, but it looks like the options are: Protection Diode, 4558 buffer, and regulator.  I need to work on this thing, I'll let y'all know what I find.

My protection diode is okay and so is the voltage regulator.  I replaced the 4558 bugger (ha- I'm leaving that typo) and all it did was give me a very weak dry signal out the main output... less than half the volume of the direct out.  I probably screwed it up because I have big hands and a big tip, and I was working a space meant for robots.
