I'm using Gauss Markov's library to practice making PCB layouts and I'm having trouble increasing the pad size.  What I've read I'm supposed to use the "change diameter" command, but I can't seem to get it to apply to the components, or the pads.  I've gotten shape change to work, but not size.  Any help?

is that retro active? will it work if i've already laid down all the traces?

Yes.
Just hit the ratsnest button after you make changes and it will refresh the board.
All children left unattended will be given a mocha and a puppy

what about etching some words?  it seems like the standard text goes in as mask.

I have the opposite problem - I can't figure out how to get text to go on as the silkscreen instead of the copper.  :icon_confused:

that's the default for me.  I want to etch away the name of the circuit.  Is there a layer for substrate or "lack of copper"?   ???

hopefully someone can chime in and help both of us.

To get text etched on the copper side, select the wiretool and choose the bottomlayer in the select layer choice, then choose the texttool and type your text. Same thing should apply for the silkscreen I guess?

That etches the background away from the words.  I want to etch the words into the ground pour plane.
