I updated a Lexicon Jam Man for a friend with a "upgraded" ROM chip.  This particular version disables the mode select.  Bad News.

I have access to the next version of the chip which fixes this.  Can anyone ballpark what it might cost to burn that to a ROM for me?  I really don't know anything about this technology, I'm just trying to see what the options are for him.  Thanks.

What is the chip itself, Is it an EEprom, for most of the chips i need to program i use a labtool48, but depending on the chip there are schematics all over the net to build different programmers, Tell me the chip ident and i'll have a look to see what you can use to program it. Does it have a little window in the top, if so it would need erasing using UV.

Please at least have 1 forum post before sending me a PM demanding something.

I can burn EPROMs for you.  $10 for the EPROM and postage, you provide the data file.

I don't know what kind of chip it is...  its got 28pins, the size of the ISD chips in the looper projects.  I'd also rather not build my own programmer, as this is a once and done project.

Let me check with the guy who wants it.  Thanks for the offer.
