transferred layout to vero board, images uploaded, anyone see anything wrong?

ok so iv soldered pin 3 to 5 and the gain is no longer controlling the volume.... it doesnt do anything lol, volume works but is a bit quiet and geting plenty of static lol

Have you cut the track under R7?  Can't tell from the vero layout.

There's a bit of a conflict between the schematic and the PCB layout.

Not sure whether pin 5 should get it's supply from the nominal 9v bus, or from point Vcc.

pin 5 or pin 8? I can't see any conflicts.

Yeah, sorry, it's alright.  Pin 5 goes to nominal bus, pin 8 goes to Vcc.  It's alright.

hmmmm strange, volumes working (doesnt go very loud) gains now doing nothing since i soldered pin 3 to 5. although it was only altering volume before anyways? lol, gota go out to a gig but will check up when i get in tonight, thanks to everyone for all the time they have/are still putting in

How did you connect pin 3 and 5? through a wire over the IC or with two jumpers? If you use 2 jumpers, maybe you have to cut a track around R6...Also Did the strip ''i'' become a ground or not? 'Cause if not you have a 1M resistor connected to your gain pot and and all those component that are supposed to be ground are not grounded yet...Or i'm confused!

hi, i is ground as its got a wire from c which is ground, and 3 to 5 is done by a wire on the reverse of the board, so c, i , and g are now ground and pine 3 and 5 are connected with a wire on the soldered side of the board (on the ic socket legs) all the jumpers are wires from point to point

holy crap hang on, as the vero layout is an altered version of ov somesones elses on here, where the jumpers are on the diagram......iv just put one wire from one end to the next....do they all need connecting along the blue line?

No, you're ok, the jumper only needs to be fixed at each end.
