Hi,

First, schematic is here: http://www.freeinfosociety.com/electronics/schemview.php?id=1181
I have an old small stone (1979) that I bought with a problem. When the rate is at 12h, I hear a kind of tic tac behind the phasing.
I tried it with a power supply (Boss PSA) [I have replaced the original 1/8 power jack] and with a battery. Any change.
I did a sample (only 350 Ko) which is available here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HL7X4PY6
You have to wait 45 sec before downloading the file. Thanks if you do it !

About the sample:
- bypass
- rate at 12h
- rate at max

You can hear that at the max rate, it's not a tic tac but a continous noise. The noise seems to depend on the rate.

I have also a sovtek small stone. I compared the voltages of transistors and IC of both pedals, and there are the same. Can I conclude than IC and transistors are not responsible of the tic tac ?

I did an audio probe, but the tic tac appears at the effect input. I have replaced the 0.1uF (3) , and the electro 10uF (1) caps, but I do not have electro 33uF (2).

Any advice ?

I disabled each stage one by one(with Mark Hammer phaser shift mod) and the problem is still here.

I guess the problem comes from a component which receives the V+.

I ordered the 33uF, and 2 CA3094 (only 2 because there are expansive) just in case ... but I would prefer to find where is the problem.
