Well, my parts for my Dr. Boogey isn't here til tomorrow, so I was just doodling graphics for the box.  I made a layout on MS Publisher and made it a black and white image of textured metal with labels, but I thought it was too plain so I went on photoshop and ran a few techniques here and there and got an awesome purple/blue swirl effect.

So using frequencycentral's film graphics procedure, I'm hoping to put this on the box:

I named it the SCreeCH, cuz I like the look of the "SC" and "CH" capitalized and the "ree' being smaller.

Well anyways, I just want to know your guys' opinion if this is fitting for a DR. BOOGEY.  Color? Title?
I'd be happy to hear some suggestions from you guys, put in another name if you think it would fit the potential of the DR or color scheme.

I may be the only person in the world who gets narked by it, but I don't like it when people refer the the Dr Boogey as a "Dual Rectifier Emulator". The "dual" has nothing to do with it, it refers to the number of rectifier tubes in the amp  - the Single/Dual/Triple share the same preamp (which the pedal emulates) and have one rectifier tube for each 50w of power amp.

But on the same token, that's the name of the amp.  What else does Mesa Boogie call it?

Yes, that's the name of the amp with that particular power amp configuration. The Dr Boogey doesn't emulate a 100w power amp any more than it emulates 50w or 150w.

I'd personally go for "Mesa Rectifier Emulator" as it then covers the series.

Ah fooey.  What's in a name.  Call it what you will the graphics for the enclosure looks cool.  Nice job.  I'd like see it when it's finished.

yeah... I definitely know that there's nothing "dual" about it, but i do know that it's BASED on the dual rectifier, so that's why I had that there.

hhhmmmm....

Screech.

That's the name of the nerdy character in the sitcom Saved By The Bell during the early nineties. Well that's what comes to my mind with that name.

It's still a good name IMO. Quite a contrast with the sound it gives out. If they say it is a geeky name then wait for their response after they hear its sound.

You know, it would be kinda cool to have a thread with graphics for sharing.  I mean if someone really liked this graphic, they could download, print, and use it on their own Dr. Boogey.
