Has anyone tried the Dr. Boogey layout by Xavier?  It says verified but I haven't found anyone else that tried it.  I just need to be sure because I only have enough parts to try one more time to make the Dr. Boogey.

Here's Xavier's from the gallery

And the expanded version by Krinor, I might be using this one

Thanks guys

I might not always be right, but I'm never wrong....

I would also like to know if any of these layouts has been verified.

I'm gonna go ahead and try to analyze the original schem and this perf to double check while waiting for answers  :)

I was working on my Dr. Boogey and got it to work!  Definitely verified.  I used the expanded perf version by Krinor because I have the exact smallbear perf size.  Fits great with conflict when using cermet trimpots.  Everything worked at first try too, no debugging, just a lot of time figuring out the trimpot settings without a multimeter...

I got mine to sound nice with lots of gainy distortion when I scoop the mids.  But I think I can make it better, but if I go any farther the hum will get worst.  THERE'S TOO MUCH HUHMMM.  The high brightness blue LED also raises the hum, too, but I think it might mostly be the power adapter that I have.  There's no info that it's regulated or not.  Also, I get a weird screechy sound when I put it on bypass (for some reason the bypass is not working either.  No sound from guitar, even though the wiring is correct on the 3PDT, I think there might be a problem with the switch...)

I'm gonna try to figure things out tomorrow morning but I don't know where to start....

amazing... I found a piece of paper of info on my 9v power adapter inside the box that held it.  It says unregulated...
sigh...

You could make that unregulated PS a regulated one.  I did that with a 12v adaptor following Tonepads project using a 317.  The only thing is you would have re-house the transformer assembly.  On the upside the DC bridge rectifier is already there.  Just a thought.

It works, I tell you  ;D..........just be careful with your wiring.
