Fuzzer,  I pretty confident that John's comment is sarcastically aimed at the other forum members, not you.

Are you new to building?  Is so, you may do better trying a kit from GGG.  They are well established kits and there is a lot of support to be had here.

Good luck and have fun!

Tu peux lire l'anglais assez bien ?

PS: met une petite note en note de pied comme ça les gens vont comprendre que tu travaille ton anglais.

À+

Yes, my comment was aimed at the mob mentality of everyone ganging up on you.
No offense meant. Welcome to the forum! Quite a welcome I'm sure  :icon_biggrin:

I have a feeling that there's often a feeling of "not being part of the gang" when newcomers arrive: the jokes can be seen sometimes as a kind of snobism.  But the impression disappears pretty fast once you get hooked on the fun that everybody shares.

Hi
regarding the xenophobic comments along the line of :
QuoteNah! I heard they were made in Chinese sweatshops , by two year olds

I think we should keep politics, racism and macro-economics out of the forum.

Although many people on this forum are from countries where working conditions are far better than the USA, I can't recall many comments refering to factories in the USA as sweat shops.  Thanks for being more reasonable in the future.
cheers

Brett, sweatshops can be found throughout the world , including, historically speaking, the USA and the UK. I referred to Chinese ones - for purely satirical effect - when I could just aswell have substituted Malaysia,India,Vietnam, Taiwan or any other country where it is known that workers, many of them underaged, are exploited. I apologise if I caused any offence but that was not my intention. I can assure you, I am neither Racist nor Xenophobic.
I take on board your comments about keeping certain subjects off the forum. I believe there is a diverse range of Cultures represented here and what might seem a throwaway comment to one person might be mortally offensive to another. I will endeavour, in future, to be more considerate in regard to any possible offence caused by an ill-considered post. Bearing this in mind, you may want to reconsider your use of tag. Quoting one of the most infamous Mass-murderers of the 20th Century might be deemed insensitive in some quarters.

My apologies for starting this thread off a bit hostile..

We've seen advertisers before and to me this looked like one.
Item on canadian ebay, canadian member, first post. Stating it's a fuzz factory, though it does not say that in the aution. I just thought the odds were against him.

Intersted to hear if anyone get it and builds it.
