yo dudes, jus wondering if you could help me massivly, iv built my first pedal and the case is a sham, i got the wrong decal paper delivered (rodeo ebay seller advertising sticker paper as waterslide) and i cannot help noticing how cool/tidy arons fuzz face two face looks, any tips on what you use and where from? like what you use to get the picture on and what you did to make it so neat as it looks as if its part of the enclosure and what you did to get that nice glitter effect? and that sweet red colour? also where are those enclosures from? theyre pretty good for putting the switches on the level bits.
cheers for any help.

Glad you like it! It's gloss photopaper glued affectionately on the box. The glitter effect is made using Krylon Fusion Mystic Prism, a kind of clear coat with sparkle dust in it. Can't find it anymore locally. :'( The sweet red was made with Duplicolor Metalcast (''simili'' anodized finish) as in Jack Ormann (AMZ) Instructable but without the goldpaint...Check the link from Rick above and the link therein. The box is from http://pedalenclosures.com/ those are awesome! I took my time and a lot of clear coat on this one, including the glitter coat...

Bonne journée!

only found one place in uk and their site dunt look trust worthy to pay direct by card, lol, would that old hair glitter spray work? then lacquer on top? tar

Brymus

We used to use hairspray in art class as a fixative to cover pencil and charcoal, pastels so it didnt smear when you added more to it.
So I would guess it would work under clear coat, try some on a small part and see.

BTW that two face pedal is one of my all time favorites art wise (no clue what it sounds like I'm sure it awesome)
So its just regular gloss photopaper glued on ? any certain brand ?
what kind of glue did you use ?
Thanks for sharing.
I'm no EE or even a tech, just a monkey with a soldering iron that can read, and follow instructions. ;D

Yeah i guess hair glitter can do the job, but the one in Krylon is really extra fine dust so it give prism diffusion effect (Dark side of the moon) depending on the light and angle. Do like Brymus suggest and do a test before. The secret is to take your time, wait for the paint to cure properly, than wait for the glue to dry adequately...and on and on.

Yep! Any regular photopaper will do the job. I have use Pritt power gel (c) ;) glue but i guess there's better brand or product you can use.

There's no ''secret ingredient'', just you.

Sorry, my kids love this movie.

Cheers!
