A question for Paul Marossy- Solo Pro

Is there a reason you chose to use 1 meg audio pots here?
I want to use this device for my acoustic guitar which has a 10k audio pot for the volume..
Did you make it this way because an electric guitar vol pot value?
Do you think it will work well with the 1 meg pots in my application, or should I use 10k ones instead?
The only reason I'm asking is because I have to order the pots and I'd like to get the right value.

My guess is he chose 1M so the signal is not "loaded down". Higher input impedance.
