Hi!
It's my first time typing in here but i am visitor for some time.

I recently built a Dr. Boogey from the Gaussmarkov layout.
The pedal was working fine until i tried pluging in a 18V Transformer. It worked for a while but then it went off.The LED still lights on but im geting no sound, including when it's bypassed.
I guess some component burned out.is there anyway i know which one?have this happened to anyone?

Thank you for your help
And sorry for my english

dschwartz

check for the filter capacitors (100uF) voltage rate, some are 16V, maybe they blew up..

Hold on... 'including when it's bypassed"?
If you have true bypass wired up, then true bypass should still work because it's not affected by the circuit.  Do you think you have a shortage somewhere?  Try opening your enclosure move things around, look for unwanted contacts.

Sometimes, I get no sound from my Dr Boogey because my 6 inch audio cord has a terrible jack, and that's my silly mistake :P

I might not always be right, but I'm never wrong....
