cab sims help

hello, I use a blackstar 5 watt tube head for home play which is fantastic for the money. There is a record out on the amp which i think uses some form of powersoak to reduce the signal for recording into a pc etc, however the signal is not passed into the speaker, and I hate uusing computer speakers when playing. So I am looking for a pedal that will split my signal without deteriorating it it and hopefully and a cab sim to the recorded signal (and the amp signal if thats all that is available).

I have heard that the Bad Monkey overdrive has a good record out on it but I really don't want to change my oD pedals.
