I've got a scott schwartz 3208 analog delay build, which I think I may have accidently fried (connected it with the wrong polarity).    what's the best way to determine if a BBD has been damaged ? try testing it on an LCR meter ?  what should the capacitance of a cool audio V3205 chip be ?   0.4096uf ?  ,  4.096uf  ? some other multiple of 4096  ? I don't have any control chips to compare with.

any help would really be appreciated.

Use an audio probe. If you've got signal on pin 7 and nothing on pins 3 or 4 then either the BBD or the clock chip has died.
Bringing you yesterday's technology tomorrow.

hmm, I wonder if its more likely that I fried the clock chip with reversed polarity, rather than the BBDs themselves...
