What is this bit coming of a 12v regulator on the PT80 schematic?

Bottom left of the schematic is the power section and out of the 12v regulator are two voltages, P and R. I'm guessing P is the 12v, but what is R? I'm going to guess it is just a filtered 9v?

Thanks  :)

EDIT: sorry, forgot to also ask that also on the first 1/2 of the TL072, there is a 1M resistor connecting from the signal line to R. In the tonepad Rebote, this is connected to ground (IIRC). Mistake? I will check the PCB layout quick to make sure.

Taylor

When you see a voltage going into a pair of resistors like that, with one grounded, it's a voltage divider. You can look up calculators to figure out the voltage, but when the 2 resistors are the same, the voltage at the junction between the 2 resistors is half the input voltage.

So R is 6v.
