I know people posted about this years ago, but there are too many pages to read through, and nothing that looks like a schematic. Does anyone have a schematic? Or better yet a perf-layout? I know Tech21 made a pedal based on this called the "American Woman", but I've never used it....any help would be appreciated.

I'm sure what Mr. Uli Behrmentloo* meant to say is that the Garnet is a tube amp, not a pedal. Building something like that is a lot more complex than a fuzz box.

Now, has anyone worked something SIMILAR sounding into a pedal - like the Tech 21 American Woman I mentioned?

so, what i am getting is that you want a fuzz/ OD that sounds like that "american woman" solo tone?  or do you want an amp-in-an-OD-box  ex. orange peel, eighteen, thor, etc.
