GGG's Maestro Brass Master with Germanium?

I'd really like to build GGG's Brass Master kit using germanium instead of the silicon resistors.  Any advice on what parts I should swap out on this build?

2. What *exactly* do you think germanium anything will do to change, let alone enhance it?

Malekko has a B:Assmaster with germanium components.  Sounds interesting... so I was thinking the GGG Brassmaster could be altered in some way to duplicate the sound/character.
