Does anyone know how to import a wav file into Multisim Labview microphone? I want to send a clean guitar tone through a circuit I designed. Do I have to go through my external microphone port on my computer or is there a better way to do this. There is some mention of it in this thread but it is rather vague.

As I remember it the documentation of the in/output components in multisim was next to non-existing. I did the simulation with an audio file.
Try NI's website... Also you might want to check out LTSpice/SwitcherCAD which also has capabilities to in/output audio.

Yes, I know it is possible but I don't know how to do it. I will keep researching and post back when I find out how to import a wav file into multisim and to save the speaker output as well.

I wonder if one could use winamp to bypass the computer sound card line in?

I had to install this to make it work...
You could possibly do it without installing any new software but I just couldnt figure it out.   ???
