ahhhh, Infinity pickups.  When my friend played with his RG (this one doesn't have a Tilman), my other friend immediately yelled out "bad pickups!", I think it might be poor suppression of microphonics or something.

I can definitely hear the difference with the Tilman, I love it.  Sounds nice and warm and restores the tone when you play through a long cable or long chain of effects.  I gotta make one again to put in my newly finished guitar.

I think more people should have the JFET buffer in their guitars with passive pickups.

I might not always be right, but I'm never wrong....

Ah yeah the pickups arent the best. The Tilman definitely makes the cleans sound better but its adding more gain to the BSIAB2 and it just changes the sound of it a bit, and i prefer the other sound if ya get me? Maybe rolling back the gain on the BSIAB might help.

Yeah it does change how the pedal behaves a bit.  I kinda like both; when I don't have it on, the Dr. Boogey sounds like it's clipping harder, whereas when on, the Tilman makes it sound a bit softer, rounder, and more natural which I like.

Im really starting to think of getting rid of these pick ups. The more I think about it It's probably them that are causing the problems because ive had problems on other builds that other guitars have worked fine on. I Dont have my other guitar beside me so ill have to wait anyway.

Thanks for all your help man anyway and your guitar looks excellent btw.
