Im looking for an easy build that will just fatten up my strat pickups a bit.  Something like a light OD, pickup booster, treble boost, something along those lines.  If you have a perfboard layout that would be fantastic.  Let me know what you guys have! Thanks  ;D

Those both look relatively easy.  Which would you recommend?  Those should help fatten my single coil tone a bit?

The mosfet boost is supposed to be 'clear' - it's a straight booster. The sparkle boost is supposed to do what it says, add some 'sparkle.'

I think I remember seeing a perf layout for a 'fat boost.' Search where those other boosters I linked are, I have to run to work now and can't find them for you.

Valvecaster. Mine has plenty of boost and some OD. It's also bassy, so it'll fatten up your sound.

too straight for me, I prefer the AMZ mini booster which adds a kind of dirt or fat (I don't know how I can name that actually). The mosfet booster is really neutral.

Can't seem to find a layout for the valve caster

I bought parts for the Fulltone Fat boost, which also works for i think the AMZ mini as well.  Found everything except for the transistors locally.

My vote is Subdecay Liquid Sunshine - the maker Brian released the schematic of the old version and it's great.  Let me know if you need help finding the schematic/layout.  You'd probably want to muck around with the RC network at the end to allow a little more treble through though, the schematic as listed cuts a bit of treble

Good call. LS does a nice clean or dirty boost. Barber LTD Silver would get my vote though. I've built both and prefer the LTD.

Doesn't distort but distorts what's next or on down the line.
Has 'internal' distortion which is cool.
It's not one or the other but generally more or less one of those.
"Doesn't distort" could be the Mosfet booster.
Internal distortion...depends...something Jfet [basically takes at least two of them to get one of them distorting much] or Cmos can have really nice light OD tone, I had such -luck with Cmos but sure loved them when they worked.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

How complex is the liquid sunshine?  You have a layout?

That looks cool, looking for something a bit more basic though
