Well, I didn't like the final result, but I'm glad someone used my layout!

i have this breadboarded and i like it! gonna do one for my bassist friends birthday.  used a GT308, works as expected, sounds good with guitar as well, sort of rangemaster territory tonewise.

I also breadboarded it with some russian germaniums I had lying around, didn't get any noise at the beginning of the attack but did get a lot of hiss! I built a booster to go in front and see what this was like saturated and was pleased with the nice trebley overdrive I got (sounded bad with silicons i might add) but is unusable on breadboard because of the noise level. Very nice treble boost though, with the right transistors.
