Hello everybody! Recently I built the Stage Center Reverb generalguitargadgets site. The circuit is impeccable, the links with the key 3PDT too. By clicking on the pedal I did not hear any sound of reverb. What I can hear is just a variation of the potentiometer Dwell, which if I remember correctly represents the volume pedal. This pedal only works if connected to a reverb tank? Someone rode him and got to hear the reverb even without being connected to a reverb tank? Pessol Please help me, I do not know what to do.

Thanks!

Your question/description makes little sense to me. Might want to rephrase it and try and make it clearer.

My question is: Stage Center Reverb works without the reverb tank?

lucasventura

I'm not able to hear the reverb effect and potentiometer MIX does not work. I've swapped it for others and can not result. The pedal only increases and decreases the volume.

Yes you need a reverb tank for the reverb effect. It is an analog reverb circuit.

Yeah the main point of the Stage Center Reverb is reverb, which is only coming from the reverb pan in that circuit. The rest of the circuit is some kind of driver for the pan and maybe something else, but won't give you reverb. The key item is the reverb pan.

Thank you all for answering! It's a shame not to hear the sound of this pedal without the reverb tank.

Does anyone know of a project reverb that does not need a reverb tank?

Why do you want to hear the pedal without the reverb tank? Just out of curiosity.

There are two reverb projects you could check out. One has the Belton reverb block, which is sold at Small Bear and there is a kit avaliable at GGG. The other is with the FV-1 chip. You can find the board on Tonepads site along with a project file.
