Feeding a processed signal back into the original signal

I'm not sure what to call this, but I've been thinking about it as a blend. Then I realized that if I were to use a blend control, it would determine the amount of both clean and processed signal coming through. I want the original signal coming in to be at a constant level, while the processed signal being fed back into the effect to be controlled. Is this as easy as having the processed signal on an outside lug, the other outside lug to ground and the inside lug connecting directly to the input signal? Or would have have to use a 1uf cap and/or resistor or something to separate them?

Thanks!

that should work. because the input signal is connected always to the output, and the processed signal is between full and ground, but the 2 signals, when combined will be louder than just the unprocessed signal alone. , or if the processed signal has been inverted by whatever singal processing you use, then the 2 signals may be out of phase and actually cancel each other and be quieter when mixed.
you can always add a master volume after the mix pot, but you want to make sure the 2 signals are in phase.

The signal goes through some other processing on either end of the blend/feedback part, but the only difference between the processed signal and the original signal is it is going through a pt2399 then a TL072 to be mixed with 3 other delayed signals. Once the four delayed signals are mixed together, they head off to the rest of the circuit, or they are put back into the input of the pt2399 section (in other words, mixed with the original signal).

I don't know if that turns the phase of the signals or not. The pt2399's are set up similar to a PT80 and the TL072 is being used like the GGG Mini Mixer

Is there any phase switches going on here?

the mixer schem looks good, and doesnt reverse the signals phase, and i'm pretty sure the pt80 circuit or really any delay circuit will probably be the same, so i think your ok.
