3PDT Switch Alternatives for True-Bypass Pedals/Loopers?

Hey guys! I've searched and haven't found my answer.

I have a custom True Bypass Looper w/ 3PDT Blue Switches - because of the hard sturdy "click" that these switches make, the "click" actually carries through the signal of the T.B.L in my signal chain causing the "click" to be heard at quiet times on stage through the amp, and of course continues to trail if I have delay on.

So, I'm curious if there is a "soft-touch" / "no click" switch that will work for true bypass, creating the switching between pedals quiet (eg: Momentary SPST "Soft-Touch")? I apologize that my electrical knowledge is minimal to a basic understanding so I'm not sure what would be required. I own a KORG Pitchblack Tuner which has this "soft-touch" switch and is also True Bypass.

Thank you guys very much for your help. If this has already been discussed, please let me know! This site is fantastic

I think there's a way to reduce this click. I'm not %100 sure about how to do it, but I'm sure someone will chime in.

There's a guy here who does digital and analog switching systems, perhaps he has an idea for you to think about.

This is probably because you have one or more ceramic capacitors in your audio chain. All electronic ceramic capacitors are to some degree microphonic (remember those "crystal mikes" and piezoelectric guitar pickups?) and the mechanical clik is carried into the ceramic capacitor by hard-mounting of the switch and board.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
