Needing some help here (like usual)

Im removing a spdt to put in a dpdt because i want to add an led, does anyone know of a diagram to help me with this or can someone explain it

Plenty of wiring diagrams if you google them, but it isn't hard. A DPDT switch is just like two SPDT switches next to each other. Use the one side just like the original SPDT was wired, then use the other side for LED wiring. Ground to the middle lug, one of the side lugs for the - side of the LED (use whichever lug you want for the position of the switch to be on) then leave the other lug empty. Wire up the + side of the LED and current limiting resistor and you are good to go.
