Old computer used to have Express SCH on it, I added a neat library with tons of tube symbols.

Now just reinstalled Express SCH on my new computer and have started a new project. I have searched for quite a while on Google and various forums trying to find links to download a tube libary, but none. Can anyone help me out?

Also the stock library doesn't have DPDT relays, where can I get those?

Thanks...

Does anyone have a DPDT relay? The one that I got in the downloaded library isn't very good.

It's pretty simple to make your own symbol.
Just select the part in Express PCB and click Component>ungroup.
Now you can drag the pices of the symbol around to make it how you like.
The click Component>group to make component>save component

Hi guys,
I think i may have got this one from the yahoo user group. Have a couple others but this one's the best, just a reconstructed spdt.

John, I ended up doing just that. Actually very easy to make your own components. This software is so user friendly!

Thanks davent.

Now to figure out how to make a 3pin XLR jack.

Hi Chris, Not sure you can, tried to upload the ExpressPCB file but the file upload section here won't accept the .s file extension. Should be a fairly quick to make drawing. Again this more then likely came from yahoo.

Hi Chris,
I would have thought there were octals in the Hoffman Custom Components?  Probably the quickest way to get an octal would be to scoot back to Hoffman and open up one of the ExpressPCB tube amp schematics they have on file there and pull an octal off the schematic. Easier and quicker then doing a whole library. When you were asking about this the other night i went and checked out the Yahoo user group for new libraries and someone  added a tube library late last year, downloaded the zip file but haven't opened it up yet, may be some good stuff in there.
