Hi there,

I've just finished building a Hot Silicon (on PCB) when I realized the difference between schem and vero,

on schem (thx Doug)

http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/ulysses/ulysses_layouts/dh_hot_silicon/dh_hot_silicon.gif.html

SW1-1 is connected only to a side of C1 and IN
SW1-2 is connected only to a side (-) of C2

on vero (thx Ulysses)

http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/ulysses/ulysses_layouts/dh_hot_silicon/dh_hot_silicon.gif.html

SW1-1 is connected with R1 Q1(B) R2 C1
SW1-2 is connected with C2 (-) and the other side of C1
IN is connected with C2(-) and C1 as above

Am I misreading the whole thing, am I missing something ..... or which is the right way to connect the switch and IN, I've already soldered all components on my PCB so before to start messing with solder sucker and things like that I would like to hear your opinions m8.

thx for help

Armando,

The difference only changes which leg of the cap is lifted when the switch is open--I've used this layout and it works identically :) Hope that helps--this is by far the best fuzz I've ever built.

Got it now! thx Josh

it's just like the switch is on the right side of c1-c2 iso on the the left side, right?

fully agree! Quite easy to build and to play with, at least this was my impression on a testing on vero/perf/pcb mix I made sometime ago. Now to finish the connections on the PCB and box my new "Hot Dragon"!!
