No comments. Sorry, I badly speak English, but will try to answer questions if they are.  :icon_redface:

Hey, welcome to the forum !  Nice to have some Russians here.  It looks like there are not too many.  Stay wih us !

Thanks for sharing!

I don't know that I would choose a compandor-less design if I had a MN3005 laying around.

Hello Comrade...!

I  also like see  big picture  schematic. Is alright to simple words? Or would you prefer we just use English like we use it so you can learn as you go?

I think you might like to do a cyrillac version as that might be more exotic for us westerners as opposed to something that looks like it was made in the west... Hype up the romance we might feel for the nature of Slavic culture...

wczesnie elektryk opozniac... I know thats Polish and I couldn't find a word for analog so I used early electric delay. The add a hammer and sickle and we'll be drooling to get such an exotic and interesting piece of cultural boasting ammo! :icon_razz:

Yes, this is my project.

The main parameters:
Input impedance: 1 MOhm;
Output impedance: 50 kOhm;
Direct channel: 50 Hz - 20 kHz, ripple <1 dB;
Delay channel: 50 Hz – 3.8 kHz, ripple <2 dB;
S/N (direct/delay): > 80/75 dB
Time delays: 40-330 ms.

Description in Cyrillic is on Russian sites. If the English it's fun, can make the transfer, but does not guarantee its accuracy.

How to put image or archive file on this forum?

To sean k: Comrade, I don't suffer nostalgically on hammer and sickle. And Slavonic culture is quite elsewhere!  ;D

sean k

Yeah I know that most Russians don't hold that the time with Communism was a walk in the park or even that most Russians are Slavonic.

It's just a suggestion to market something to us westerners hungry for something a little different, if you are even going that way, but if you did intend to sell these things it's always a pretty good idea to overhype the cultural misunderstandings that surround you.

I'm in New Zealand and if I made a pedal I wanted to sell I'd take advantage of the ideas that people in the rest of the world use to identify where I'm from. It may have absolutely no bearing on what I'm selling except being a way to graphically define a difference and often pedals are pretty much the same anyways and are quite often bought just for the style they exhibit so the buyers can stand out from the people around them. Our choices define us and all that. Just a suggestion.

My living is making art and it's often the story that sells the piece. Give the people a good story to tell around the table at a dinner party and the art doesn't matter. It's just a vehicle for the story.
Monkey see, monkey do.

Indeed, Sean, you might consider calling your pedal company "Frightened Sheep FX"...   :P

Sean, I am sorry that was mistaken when thought that this forum is for people interested in a home electronics for guitars. Are there more discuss policies and trade? I was not interested in ...

Is it possible to increase the delay time to say 800ms -1000ms?

Valentinych, this is a great design!! The filtering seems to be much better then others I've seen however the curve should, from my point of view end at 8KHz (is now 5.2 KHz using your samples) The dimishing in the feedback is also excellent. I'm also designing  a product but for vintage multi head system  but the final call on the filtering is not yet made. Is there a graph of your filter??

Great stuff!

Mac, you can, but this will require 3 MN3005.

Thanks, Peter!
What is a “dimishing”? Tell other words, please.
Filters are calculated in the program FilterPro (v.2.00.0017) by Texas Instruments Inc. But in the final version of my know-how.  ::) Everything is simple, but difficult to explain this in English.
