hi this is kind off a stupid question but i was wondering for the layouts for vero. when looking at the diagrams is that as if you are looking down onto the componet side or the actual strip board side. what I'm asking really is when looking at the diagrams are they mirrored horizontally. showing you were to solder the components from the strip board side? really stupid question i know. but i built a one knob fat fuzz months ago and it never worked and I'm almost certain the reason why it never worked is because of this. here is the layout for the fuzz.

also I'm i OK to use the tonepad off board wiring diagram for this and any other builds?

so about the really stupid question.

thanks Michael ???

The vero layout is drawn as though you are looking at the component side.

So for example this

The tonepad offboard wiring will work fine.
