Spent my friday night making some PCBs at work for my next five or so builds (who needs a social life eh?). Think ive cracked it anyway ;D

Thanks to Gauss Markov for his awesome site http://gaussmarkov.net/wordpress/ and for the layouts. Sites like his make this whole pastime much more accessible to noobs like myself.

Made a few mistakes by not letting them develop long enough the first couple of times but this batch turned out ok.

Heres some pics:

I have to say this hobby is becoming addictive.

I haven't made a PCB in years (strictly perf here), but I love the look of one that comes out nice.

Nice man they look great, this is something I have so far been to frightened to attempt, but they are just so much easier than working with vero.

Pound shops for photo resist board? the pound shops here up north only sell knock off toiletries and seasonal (crap) gifts. Where abouts are you? or are you using transfers? in terms of the boogie build i am looking forward to it although i dont play hi-gain stuff so i think it may not get used live. Hooked the DOD up the other day and though its sounded good if not a bit bass heavy

i dont know, i like vero its s bit more 'DIY' than pcbs. If anything they look a little too pro. but i will say its satisfying when they are done :-)

im in london...i was talking about crappy photo paper from crappy pound shops..we have loads down here..they always spring up in a recession...you may have an old woolworths thats been taken over by them!!!...i use it to make my pcb transfers...

its great , iron on, run under water peel off...no sticky crap left on board, really clean,,,and best of all cheap!....

no more pricey pnp blue....

ive been using the UV box at work and some photo resist board from farnell £6 made me about 8 boards. I would recommend this method. the investment in the UV box is as crucial as a toaster oven i think.
