Making a Tube Screamer more like a Small Fry or Zen Drive?

I miss my Barber Small Fry horribly. 

So I got to thinking... I have a TS sitting around. It's ok, I mean, it's just a TS. Anyone have some mods that might make it more like a Small Fry. I have NO idea if the Small Fry is even close to a TS in design... but it would great to try and tweak it to get it in the ballpark; even something in the same vein (like a Zen Drive) would be great. I'm looking to get it more into "zippy smooth Dumble-esque overdriven but not" territory.

Hey Ben, were you at the Gilman Swap meet? 

To answer your question, Dave Barber posted a schematic for one of his pedals here.  Perhaps it's similar to the Small Fry?
