Hi,
I'm working on ordering parts for a project and for the 3rd diode in the circuit the parts list has "D3: 5187"
After not having much luck finding it on Mouser, I googled it and still couldn't find much info.

Anyone have any advice?
Thanks,
-Elliot

Was it 5187 or could it have been IN5817 which is a low forward voltage drop Schottky diode.

It just said 5187.
It's an overdrive pedal with a boost in it. Would the IN5817 work in place of it?

That's very difficult to say without knowing what a 5187 does.
I answered because I just needed to source an IN5817 and it seemed like a curious coincidence, plus searching for IN5187 turned up nothing for me either.
My advice for you would be to post the schem and ask for suggestions for a replacement, and before you do that, if it's a common circuit, try to locate an alternative schem and see if it was a typo or if the new schem uses a different part.

Good Luck, sorry for the slow reply, I've been sick this week.
