BYOC 5 Knob Comp Bass Mod

I have the old version of the 5 knob comp and I was wondering what mods would be called for in order to make the compressor work for bass.  I increased the input cap to .22uf and played with the pico cap to ground at the beginning which seemed to act as a low pass filter.  I still get a more middy tone that definitely cuts some low bass when I engage even with the bigger input cap.  Are there any other parts I could swap out to tailor the circuit for bass?  Specifically I want to pass more bass frequencies.  Thanks!
