Heys guys. I got a problem and was wondering if anyone else here has heard of it or experienced it or whatever...

I ve got an orange lovepedal E6..... and when played with a Les Paul there is a clean layer of sound over the overdrive, you can really hear it good. It only does this if the low E is included in the chord (bar chord).... its just a clean not that is layered over the overdrive. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem, heard of it, or may know how to fix it.
I cant located clips of the orange e6 to compare, sounds great with a strat (single coils only) and it performs the same way through my marshall or blues jr...

any help is appreciated, as I have heard some people say that they have sent pedals to be repaired at lovepedal and never got em back..... although I have never had any dealings with them personally so take that comment with a grain of salt.

thanks sands
put it together, now take it apart

Mr. G.

I think that's just a typical trait from the way Tubescreamer style circuits clip the signal.  Nothing wrong with it, that's just how it sounds.  You usually can't hear that effect too well when listening to soundclips over the internet.

Yeah I was thinking that, I guess thats what gives it its clarity? and something that gets on my nerves.... although I mainly use it with a strat and its not at all noticeable on it. Same reason why I dumped my modded TS I built.
