1.What does it do, not do, and sound like?

When connecting it to power, it has series of pops or thuds that may keep repeating.
It passed some sound through but it had no gain and had a high pitched squeal. Now signal doesn't get passed through unless bypassed, but switches to the clipping occasionally bring out a pop.

2.Name of the circuit = Rat
3.Source of the circuit (URL of schematic or project) = http://boardshop.weebly.com/, the rat parts layout/board
4.Any modifications to the circuit? Diodes for clipping changed to 5mm LED's, clipping selector switch in place
5.Any parts substitutions? I substituted the 30p cap for a 33p cap
6.Positive ground to negative ground conversion? No
