Germanium boosters?

I'm not really familiar with boosters, but I do know that I want a little bit of a treble boost and a little bit of grit if I need it. I want to be able to put this thing in a 1590 comfortably. Suggestions?

If you want "a little bit of a treble boost", you'll want a rangemaster with a input capacitor switch.
