New to the forum first post,

A few months ago I modded my crybaby with just about all of the mods from http://www.stinkfoot.se/andreas/diy/mods/dunlop.htm .   It didn't work and all i got was radio static when i moved the pedal up.  I bought another GCB 95 and did the mods individually this time so that I could figure out where I screwed up.  It still doesn't work but I modded the board first (which did work) and then when I removed the buffer and put in true bypass the new one doesn't work now.  Instead of static I can hear a VERY faint wah sound in the amp but there is literally no output whatsoever.  I have checked it and according to the website all of my wiring is correct.  Where could I have gone wrong?  is there a way to test the switch or pot?  Am I grounding the output somewhere.  I could take some pictures but I was hoping someone ran into a similar issue before I did anything too crazy.

Also, when bypassed my guitar signal works perfectly.  I also added an LED light and am thinking maybe I switched the legs of the cathode ( short went to resistor, long went to ground) but thats literally the only thing I can think of.  I know just enough about electronics to screw something up.  Which I did.

Please Help.

  Know it.
True bypass?...otherwise a basic wah circuit with altered values or adjustable values ? Should work. Trying to save you the trouble of drawing a schematic of exactly what you have there [which is a good thing to have with any circuit, especially if attempting to communicate info which for discussion is futile or ineffecient.

No adjustable values, I actually didn't even change much to the circuit.  I changed the inductor to a yellow fasel.  I tried putting in tropical fish capacitors but they gave me AWFUL feedback when the pedal was all the way on the bass end so I took them back out.  Everything worked perfectly until I removed input buffer components and switched the board to the case that had the LED and the true bypass (which I guess never really worked).  I think the problem is in the switch, but its wired exactly like the picture from the stinkfoot article.
