I want to try making my own pcb board but all the layouts I have found are very large.
I have tried shrinking them in photoshop but they get very fuzzy and or blurry.
(I tried this one http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/MarkMs-Gallery/album15/album76/ToneRanger_PNP.gif.html among others)

What do I need to do to make them small enough to actually print?

Thank you for any help!

I'll pull up the page that has the transfer and go under print preveiw and adjust the size there. It works for me. You could try that and see if that works for you.

Thanks for the reply.
How are you deciding what percentage to reduce?

Example: Say the board you want to do has a 8 pin Opamp. Match the Opamp to the printed copy. If it doesnt match up just print out another one that will match up. When you find the size that matches, then you can make your board. Hope that helps.

Hey 59strat!!  You sent me a PM about Firefly PCBs but your inbox is full.

You should post in the thread to reserve your board.

I wish more people would start saving their PCB layouts in Adobe Acrobat PDF format at 300 dots per inch resolution. Then when you print it with Acrobat's page scaling set to "None" it always comes out actual size.
Guitar > Neo-Classic 741 Overdrive > Boss NS2 Noise Suppressor > DOD BiFET Boost 410 > VHT Special 6 Ultra Combo Amp Input > Amp Send > MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay > Boss RC3 Loop Station > Amp Return

The goofiest are these ones I see that are set to 1 pixel per inch, and then the size is like 800 inches wide. ???
