I've put together a little vero layout for a Red Llama. I already have one on perf that i've built and is working, but I'm going to give this vero a try too. I've made a few mods but those are not set in stone yet. Double check this for me. Schematic is from GGG.

new layout:
i wanted to make this as small as possible, so just look for trace cuts under:
100k
.47
120r
10k
10+
under chip

Board mounted pots can be very good, I use them alot, depends if you want the layout to be sideways on so that the outputs don't have to come from the pots themselves or be lead from the board (if you get me... think of the board vertical and horizontal) Nothing wrong with it at all atleast, just remember the components behind it, try not to replace things on end or transistors that'll take up too much space... a 1590B will only fit a 21x8 Board very snuggly too.

Here's an example of vertical & horizontal on board pot vero layouts, hope that's of some use  :)
