power supply filter

So i have a high gain pedal running at about 17volts via a charge pump and have a lot of excess noise. I was told about a filter that is in wah wahs to reduce noise, but at 9volts. Could i still run this filter in my circuit to filter out noise even though its at 17volts?

  It looks good to me..
 If the crybaby already has a reverse protection diode, that'd make 2, only one is needed.
  Jfet buffer is fine.

you think throwing both in would be good?  And for the buffer, i see a 9volt in but not a 9volt out. Any ideas?

  Not really, they don't do anything exept make 1 diode drop across the power supply voltage unless it is reversed, then it tries to clamp, clamps or hopefully fries in fatal success at saving the rest of the circuit.
  And for the buffer, i see a 9volt in but not a 9volt out. Any ideas?
  The input for the buffer is for guitar signal, the output of the buffer is signal out, much lower impedance than some fuzz pedal outputs, keeps the wah input from loading the signal there.

  If you use capacitors rated at 25volts or more.

As for the filter cap, im not completely sure. I am only an enthusiast who does this for fun so i don't understand circuits 100%. But below is a schematic for the pedal.

Since my power supply is regulated i'm going to go with the buffer to install. If im understanding you, the buffer goes like this



But if this goes in like i think it does, it should have an out put for the PU.  That is if the buffer goes in between the circuit and the foot switch.
