I know I've posted an earlier stage of this by pedal, but now it is finally done.

2018 is my year to trim down my project backlog. So far, so good.
This was my very first intentional etch.

Very nice Erik, how odd you get the brass colour in the etch? Looks more metal than paint

Ordinary metallic gold spray paint. It was plan C after failing at electroplating and brass inlay powder.

Thanks! One neat thing I learned here is that, as aluminum oxidizes and darkens, light paint/knob colors really start to stand out nicely.

I mailed that pedal to my brother this morning, or as I told him, I gave it wings and pointed it south.

3rd build of 2018. Well, this one was finished in 2017, but I made the enclosure today. It's a 1590A Triangle Big Muff, etched artwork based on the original one. I don't have any experience on using inks, so I painted it with nail polish

This is a true positive ground legit "Tychobrahe Octavia" Octave fuzz (with switchable octave feature).

Hey hey! I've been out of the game for a bit of a while, good to see the etching thread still going!

I've been printerless for about 2 years so haven't done any builds, but that time is over!

This one is the Bloodstone phaser from Lectric-FX, based on the EHX Bad Stone. Had a few teething problems after not having built anything for a while but got there in there in the end! Great sounding phaser.

Reverse etched with NaOH, then metallic paint and a healthy dose of clear coat, I was going for a sort of Alex Grey artwork vibe if anyone is familiar with his work.
