Etched enclosures

@deadastro, Thanks.

@ch1naski, there's no etching involved with that ink. I used it only on the backside to test the technique.
The top is etched with pnp blue and NaOH. However that ink can be used for touch ups and masking for alkaline etching.

Hello, I just recently resolved some problems with my DIYS login, now I so can finally participate in this forum.
I am just starting to learn to build pedals, and these are my first 2 builds. I have posted these elsewhere, but since these are etched, I thought I would go ahead and add mine to the gallery in this thread.

Anybody tried a heatgun for transfers? Probably not good for pnp but I'm sick of that dang iron. I've never owned a heat gun but its time. I

@glops - haven't tried it, but controlled temperature and pressure are quite important parameters in my opinion and you won't get that with a heat gun.
But yep, I know the feeling.

No, in fact about a year ago, I didn't even understand how electricity works.

Duplicolor red cast. It translucent, so to get it to look brilliant like that, you need for the metal to be really shiny, so it will show through the paint.
