Listen to the wiper of the 100K trim that goes to the gate of the minibooster circuit (J201).  Then listen to the signal at the .1uF cap that is after the minibooster and before the tone control. If you don't hear anything at the gate of the "bottom" J201, then it's probably some sort of short from either the trim or the 1M or 24pf cap to ground.

The wiper has a good solid signal. It disappears after the 1M resistor and also the 24pF cap...
The "upper" J201 has a solid signal at the gate, but drain and source have a faint signal. The same for the "bottom" J201 including the gate... only a faint signal.
And the .1 uF cap has the same problem. That faint signal is weaker than the input clean signal, but it is distorted ofcourse. So i hear something but nothing like it is supposed to be. I tried changing the trim for another, but no changes, changed the 24 pF cap and still the same...

Is it possible i have some resistors and/or caps gone bad? That there's somewhere a major leaking issue...

Right now i have a TL071ID opamp, i have them all different kinds: cd, bcd, cp, acp, bcp... everyone works, some have a bit better sound than others.

Or may it be because i have the 24pf cap a ceramic one instead of plypropylen one, since i couldn't find one...

I'm at a loss here...
Any help would be appreciated...
I'll probably order some new resistors and caps and also some transistors too and see how it goes...
