Regarding the link to the debugging from the link above:
http://www.geofex.com/fxdebug/fxdebug.htm

and more specifically
"No or very little effect in the sound when the effect is engaged"
http://www.geofex.com/fxdebug/weakeffx.htm

Unfortunately, that link is a stub with no info at all.

Is there a thread here that discussed "No or very little effect in the sound when the effect is engaged"

I have no problem adjusting the bias when I have a gated or blatty sound but I'm having the most difficulty troubleshooting projects with "No or very little effect"

thanx

"Very little to no effect" is in the category of ''needs debugged''.

Convention creates following, following creates convention.

make an 'audio probe' to track down any part of the circuit that is letting signal through to find out where signal drops etc..
an audio probe is basically a 1 uf or bigger cap on the signal wire of a guitar chord, and ground of chord to pedals ground. plug the un-audio probed end into an amp and probe around to see where you get guitar signal by touchin free end of cap to points on the circuit board..
nothing says forever like a solid block of liquid nails!!!
