Hey people,

Just wanted to say. I built Jack Orman's Super buffer awhile back and was happy with it (using tl072). Recently I got a Voodoo Labs pedals power 2 plus and figured I'd try the super buffer on 12v. And I really really like it. I wouldn't say it's a HUGE difference, but it's improves it in the right way and makes it a bit more natural sounding with a nicer attack. Enough of a difference to take it from "It's decent and I need it in my chain", to "It's awesome and I love what it does for my tone." Just sayin. If you can try it, check your caps just to be sure they can handle it (should be no problem) and try it out! 100% worth it IMO :)

Note: I also tried the NE5532s at 12v, but they were darker and not as smooth sounding on the top end., the TL072 won out. I still want to try the NE's at 9v since I have them, but I have my doubts they'll beat the tl072 at 12v.
