Inkscape is great!

Did you know that you can open a PDF layout in Inkscape and then change things around?
This is great! This allows me to take available layout and make the little mods I want to it, without having to redo all the layout.

ya know what is even better than Inkscape on Windows?

Inkscape on a FREE OPERATING SYSTEM! lol... more like Inkscape in it's native environment.

I've been running Ubuntu for a few years. Basically, with the built-in software manager, you can just install approved programs and it grabs them from safe sources on the net... without going to your web  browser. I have so many circuit sim programs that I can't figure out, lol... including Eagle. Also, free recording software, synth software, virtual O-scope software. FREE. (make a donation whenever ya can type of thing).

The neatest thing is that you can get a large capacity thumb drive or USB SSD or something and actually install your OS on that. Then you can boot up from it on any comp you want. Or dual boot and have Win and Lin.

File Open doesn't seem to like PDF files, nor does Import.
What am I doing wrong?

But I didn't manage to edit madbeans pdf layouts yet
Everything else is very easy to do with that tool!

I have no problems opening PDFs. Usualy there opens up a import dialog.
Have you tried "import" instead of "open".
