Adding modulation to a pt2399 delay.

What would be a simple way to add modulation to a rebote type delay. I know echo base and magnus modulus did it. Is that the only to do, it with an LFO?
I am thinking of something simpler like the MXR carbon copy.

The Carbon Copy uses an LFO too. It looks simpler on the outside because there's just an on/off switch, but inside are trimpots for rate and depth.
Bringing you yesterday's technology tomorrow.

I really recommend building the EchoBase by the way, and Taylor's board is an EXCELLENT project to work with.

The problem with your question is that the Carbon Copy is a very different circuit. It's supposed to have a completely analog signal path using BBD's. I imagine it's LFO is what's controlling the modulation, and it has trim pots so you can adjust it on the inside. All in all, it's similar to the echobase in features, just in a different package and using a real analog delay instead of a simulated one.

I suggest you build the echobase, or at least try it out on a bread board. It really does sound wonderful.

Maybe it's the size he wants... I wouldn't mind having a Delay with Modulation in a 1590B Enclosure with Battery Project.

I built my Echo Base in a 125b, which is just slightly larger than a 1590b:

If you only used 1 footswitch you could easily fit a battery in there.

Can't pick up the 125Bs in England too easily, and it wouldn't fit on my 1590B Only Pedal Board being sideways... I do need to grab one of those boards though when you have them back in stock though.
