i'm using AMZ booster to boost BSAIB.. but it didnt work like i'm hoping it to be.. AMZ booster itself is very loud.. but when i switch it in front full crank BSAIB, it get way muddy.. even at max setting AMZ booster cant boost the BSAIB.. is this normal..???

built both in a BB enclosure (2in1- in-amz-bsiab-out),.. both 3pdt & share the dc 9v

i would like the booster to give bsiab more saturation & bit of vol increase for solo work.. at least that was what i'm plan it to be

This will happen with any boost into a distortion. The BSIAB is compressing the signal so it wont be too much louder than the BSIAB by itself. I will be more compressed and distorted. If you want it as a volume boost you need to put after the distortion

a full frequency boost can get muddy when you drive a distortion. cut the bass down a bit in the AMZ boost and it will sound more equalized out (IE sound the way it was when you started) after distortion, but with more gain.

the input cap is already pretty small though if you used 1n (0.001uf if you are looking at the same schematic as me). you could make that smaller or the output cap really tiny.

you need the boost AFTER the BSIAB, as previously mentioned. Distortion is created (in most cases) by amplifying a signal to a greater swing than the allowed voltage, which clips the signal. If you increase the signal into the distortion, you will clip at the same amplitude, giving harder distortion, but no increase in volume.

i'v done that.. its just make the thing louder.. i want to get mooore distortion/saturation for soloing...  is one 9v battery/dc source enough to power 2 circuit. (amz booster & bsiab2)...?

you could try the 470pf. it's already getting really small and i'm suprised that the 1n is muddy sounding. it would be really easy to test though.

the one battery will be able to supply both the circuits without any problem.

.001 is a full-range input cap in conjunction with the 10meg input resistor, not small at all.
