How to increase phaser depth?

I just breadboarded a BYOC Phase Royal with only 4 stages (basically a Phase 90 with more knobs).  It has matched FETs.

I want to know how I would be able to increase the depth of the pedal.  The sound I'm looking for is mostly with the slowest sweep possible.  When it sweeps up the circuit seems to have a VERY harsh high end.  I'd like the high end to be not much higher, if any higher, than the clean signal.  So the high end of the sweep would sound like the bypass signal.  I'd like the low end to be much deeper.  So I basically want to shift the range of the phase to be much lower.  Is this possible, or should I try another circuit?  From the youtube videos it seems like the small clone is closer to what I'm looking for, but wondering if I can modify this circuit to do so?

First of all, the Small Clone is a chorus, i'm assuming that you meant Small Stone.
The small stone seems to have a more pronounced phase sweep, which  I think has something to do with the use of OTA's, and an interesting LFO. Also the color switch which adds feedback makes things more interesting.
The Phase 90 is pretty much the blandest phaser around imho. I believe it has a 22k resistor from the last phase stage to the second, as some sort of feedback. You could make that smaller for more peakiness.

Anyway, the best thing to do would be to swap out the four 0.05uF capacitors in the phase stages for bigger caps. Try doublng them, and see if that gets your what you're looking for.
You could also try staggering the values as in the univibe, that might give you a more pleasing sound.

I popped in a couple more phase stages, non-swept.
Thanks Mark Hammer for the mod.
I did the same trick to the Small Stone.
A small daughter board...adds depth to phase sound.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Thank Boss, and Eventide for the idea.  But thanks for the nod anyway.

I wonder how many folks realize that the old Boss PH-2 phaser is 12 stages (8 swept, 4 fixed).  These can be purchased quite cheaply these days, for whatever reason.  I passed on one locally for $35 the other day.
