Is there a good way to split an input signal to two different circuit boards then have signals mixable at the output? I'm assuming I can use the splitter buffer design on amz for the input section but I'm not really sure how to blend the outputs, or if that's even a good idea.

Simplest example I can think of would be like if I had some kind of od design with a wet/buffered mix knob

You could use the mixing stage from the Moosapotumus Paralooper. (no relation to me btw)

Have a look at Paul's schematic in this thread http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=85497.0

Edit: or don't I misread what you wanted :)

The topic that Ian linked doesn't include the stock Splitter-Blend, so here it is: http://runoffgroove.com/splitter-blend.html

The phase matching capability of the Splitter-Blend is quite convenient.
